The 6 Foot Silicone Core Whip is a classic bullwhip, made for someone who truly derives pleasure from physical pain. This beautifully crafted, well balanced and nicely weighted bullwhip gives pleasure by flogging the skin while stimulating the muscles underneath, which releases endorphins with each thudding impact. The increased weight of the whip -- made heavier by a silicone core -- adds to this effect, making the 6 Foot Silicone Core Whip a very effective punishing device.

Eight 2mm thick plaits of supple black calfskin leather are braided over a silicone core, making the 6 Foot Silicone Core Whip flexible, thereby easier to handle. The handle has a hardwood core, adding to the overall weight of the whip and making it better balanced with the thong for more control. The fall is made up of 8 lengths of soft leather continued from the plates. If desired, a fall and cracker can be added to give you more of a cracking sound and your submissive a different, stinging sensation.

This whip is made by one of the finest whip makers in Eastern Europe and is being carried in North America exclusively by Stockroom. All of these whips are made for sexual play or flogging, not flagellation. Knots at the ends are soft in order to cause less damage to the skin. The high quality, handmade whips are braided, decreasing in width toward the ends and cut in precise strips for a more consistent impact, and feature the S&M symbol at the heel of each handle. In order to become 100% familiar with your products, all of these whips have uniform lengths. Despite the impact of the strikes, from an experienced handler these whips should not produce lacerations or marks, just a red coloration of the skin.

Special Features

Silicone Core: A silicone core not only increases the overall weight of the whip, but also makes it thicker, expanding across the area of contact on the body. This not only heightens the sensation for the receiver, but also diminishes the probability of trauma. Someone who has mastered this whip should be able to play without leaving any permanent marks on the person they are playing with. Silicone also absorbs shock at the moment of the blow.

During a hard lash, the precision of the blow is very important. A silicone core not only makes for a heavier whip, but also adds flexibility and pliability, as well as making sure that it holds its shape and remains sturdy. This flexibility makes it easier to direct the whip. Using the firm handle to direct a blow, the flexible body of the whip follows the direction in which the handle moves.

Calfskin: The further it is from the handle, the more the body of a whip must be flexible and fluid. Ideal characteristics are arrived at through an optimum selection of the right lengths, widths and closeness of the leather strap insets. A heavy whip during a blow must not injure the skin. Therefore, the material with which a whip is made is crucial. Calfskin is made from a calf under 2 years of age, making it more soft and flexible than other leather. The calfskin is saturated with dye rather than being dyed from the outside, ensuring that paint particles can’t enter tiny wounds in the skin and cause infections.

Safety and Usage

Whips should only be handled by an experienced handler. You will hit yourself on the head, arms and back while practicing, please seek out a professional for training so you don’t do any permanent damage to yourself or loved ones. If you are going to practice on your own, use proper safety gear; goggles, wide brim hat and a scarf or other neck protector. Those who practice flagellation should start with a soft flogger to warm up the skin and muscles. Paper targets are best to start with.

To keep your whip in shape and ensure that it has a long life, take care of it. The worst thing you can do is to get it dirty and wet. Both dirt and water will damage the whip and ruin it quickly. On the other hand, not all leather oils are good for your whips; they are designed to soften leather and keep it moist -- which is not a good idea, as we’ve already pointed out. If you want to break in your whip, just use it.
